SolarFast clothing

Made to be
worn often.

SolarFast is a light-developed textile dye: the design develops on the fabric in sunlight, then is fixed and finished. Oversized everyday pieces carry Ararat, the sun or wildflowers large across the back, with the small KAPOOYT AREV logo on the left chest.

Made for regular wear. How well a piece lasts depends on proper production, finishing and care testing, which every design will go through before it’s offered. Care instructions come with each piece.

Cyanotype keepsakes

Made to
be kept.

Cyanotype is a historical photographic print. Paper is coated by hand, laid under sunlight and washed in water to reveal a deep Prussian blue. Framed prints, wedding guest lists and cards — pieces made to hold a moment.

Keepsakes, not everyday wear: keep them framed or flat, away from damp and long direct sun, and never wash them — cyanotype fades with unsuitable detergents and alkaline conditions.
